AURA [ˈɔːrə]: The distinctive atmosphere or quality that surrounds a person, thing, or place.

Born in 1995, Maria Saltaura is an Athens-based photographer with a focus on fashion and art. Her background in advertising photography taught her the technical side of the craft, but her heart has always been in the "atmosphere" finding the mood and emotion within a frame.

Over the years, Maria has had the pleasure of seeing her work in publications like Madame Figaro GR ,Harper’s Bazaar GR, Blue Magazine, and Beaute. Since 2020, she has focused her energy on fashion portraiture, working from her own creative spaces in Athens.
